Better known to my friends as "Miss Techie" for my knowledge in all things computer related.

I am slightly older than your average ‘technophile’. I am 68 (and a quarter) years young, a self taught, self employed, freelancer lady, working from my home in Dartford, Kent, in United Kingdom.

I have a sound background knowledge in computing, I was one of the first to own a computer at home and the first to have an email address, having started with Microsoft DOS, then Windows 3.1 in 1992.

As well as IT problem solving, I also build and maintain websites, using the leading standard Wordpress CMS content management system in which I specialise in 'personal portfolio' and 'small business' websites.
